With 200 unique event cards, players must arrange historical events in the correct chronological order—but beware! Some themes are wild, some events strangely similar, and others are crafted to confuse even experts.

History Hates You is more than a game—it’s a historical rollercoaster for curious minds, strategic thinkers, and fans of weird facts.
Competitive Play
Lay out an entire series. In clockwise order, each player guesses a year for the first card, which is then revealed and scored. Repeat for all cards, switching first speakers.
Variant:
Reveal a full series and both teams bet how many cards they can place in order. The highest bidder attempts to sort. If correct, they win the points. If not, they lose points.
You can also play with a Game Master, who assigns series, gives hints, and can lead players astray—while staying technically truthful.
